Immediate Past President

Latina Fauconier, CPA, graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana with a B.S. in Accounting. During her collegiate career, she was an active member of Xavier’s NABA Student chapter serving as Chapter Secretary and attending a regional student conference which resulted in her obtaining an internship with her current employer, PricewaterhouseCoopers.

During her 12 year professional career, Latina has had the opportunity to live and work in several states and for the last 5 years, she has resided in Detroit, Michigan. Latina is currently a Director in PwC’s Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services practice in Detroit where she advises corporate clients on structuring and accounting for complex transactions related to various financial reporting matters such as leasing, revenue recognition, consolidation and more. Her current client base includes multi-national, SEC-registered companies in the Automotive and Retail industries. In addition to her membership with NABA, Latina holds a professional membership with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed CPA in the states of Washington, Michigan, New York and New Jersey.

Latina has been very active in NABA Detroit’s professional Chapter of NABA since 2010. She is currently the 2nd Vice President, Chair of both the Professional Membership Services Committee and the Communications Committee and she has previously served as Chapter Secretary. Latina furthers her involvement with NABA through collaborating with other local professional minority organizations such as the National Black MBA Association, Urban Financial Services Coalition, Black Data Processors Association, and the National Society of Black Engineers to support common goals and expand NABA’s range of impact.

For fiscal year 2013, Latina was awarded the Chapter’s Outstanding Member Award.   In her personal time, Latina focuses on her faith and her family including her spouse and two young daughters.
