| Corporate Partnership Services |
This committee serves as a liaison between NABA, Inc. - Detroit Chapter and its corporate partners. One of the primary goals of this Committee is recruiting potential local corporate partners and retaining existing partners. Corporate Partnership Services also works with the National Office to establish and maintain local partners who are also national corporate partners of NABA, Inc. |
| Scholarship and Fundraising |
One of the most important Committees, the Scholarship and Fundraising Committee works diligently to carry out NABA, Inc.’s primary mission: to develop and implement successful fundraising initiatives that will allow the Chapter to provide scholarships to deserving high school and college students. This Committee also organizes the Chapter’s Annual Scholarship Luncheon. |

The Member Services Committees are responsible for recruiting potential professional and student members, retaining existing members and communicating to members information about the chapter events and activities. This committee also works closely with the National Office of NABA and the Central Region to ensure uniform membership strategies are being implemented locally within the Detroit Chapter. |
| Community Outreach |
Serves as the liaison between the Chapter and community groups and organizations within the Metro Detroit area. This Committee coordinates various events including VITA, MACPA High School Leaders Conference and co-coordinates recruiting volunteers for the ACAP Program. |
| Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP) |
ACAP is a summer residency program which is a national trademark of NABA, Inc. NABA, Inc. - Detroit Chapter hosts the program for five days on a college university campus where selected students attend technical sessions to build their awareness of careers in Accounting and business related professions and participate in activities to build their leadership and personal development skills. |
| Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program |
VITA Committee partners with the Accounting Aide Society to adopt a tax site and prepares tax returns during the individual tax filing season for low-income and elderly tax payers. |
| Website and Publications |
Website and Publications is the Administrator of the Chapter website and works with the Executive Board, including Committee Chairs to ensure chapter events, activities and major initiatives are communicated and published in the website. |
