Thank you for expressing
an interest in the Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants
(NABA) Minority Scholarship Program. The primary objective of this program
is to encourage more minorities to pursue undergraduate and advanced degree
studies in accounting and finance. Scholarships are awarded by NABA and funded
by monies contributed by it corporate partners which consist of public and
private corporations, accounting firms, individual CPAs, and many more.
Scholarships are distributed annually in various amounts up to $2,500. The amounts are paid in two equal installments in September and January of the academic year. All disbursements will be made payable directly to the college or university. Awards are made for a single academic year. You may qualify for a repeat application as long as you continue to make satisfactory progress toward completion of your academic requirements, up to a total of four years. NABA Scholarships are available to both minority college (full or part-time) and high school (seniors) students with a concentration in accounting or finance.
